In 1878, Frenchman Leonce Fre’re established the St. Hilaire Vineyard near Albury. Named after a province in southern France, the vineyard became famous as Australia’s first champagne producer.
Located near Eagle Farm Racecourse, just north east of Brisbane in the upmarket suburb of Ascot, this large traditional home was recently refreshed with many refurbishments including a new roof.

Cirqua Apartments is a new multi-residential development in the Melbourne suburb of East Ivanhoe. Located close to the nearby shopping village, the development stands on what were originally two suburban blocks.
Located right near the ocean at Broadbeach, the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club is a Gold Coast institution. With over 1,700 active Surf Club members and 14,000-plus Supporters Club members, it is perhaps the best-known establishment of its kind in Australia.
The sub-tropical climate of the Noosa hinterland delivers warm weather for nine months of the year. During these times there is little, apart the occasional Queensland heat wave or downpour, to force locals indoors. Spending as much time as possible outside makes perfect sense.
Designed by architect Rudi Krastins and built in the 1960s, Constable House is located in the Canberra suburb of Red Hill. The original dwelling was built on a steeply sloping block and was set largely below street level, towards the back of the property.
There are some important differences between ‘beach houses’ and official ‘houses’ (i.e. places of permanent residence).
