Entries for the Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards, the program that celebrates outstanding Australian architectural work that incorporates LYSAGHT® steel building products, have closed.
“Since their introduction over 150 years ago, LYSAGHT® steel building products have established themselves as an unmistakable part of the Australian architectural landscape. The Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards acknowledge this iconic status and provide an opportunity to highlight how they are now being used to create the great buildings of the future,” said Blake Tasker, Lysaght Product & Brand Manager.
“We are pleased to say that for the inaugural year of the program, we have been inundated with entries. We are thrilled with the diverse range of high-quality projects represented and look forward to announcing the results later this month.”
Projects will be evaluated in five categories – Commercial Projects, Industrial Buildings, Residential Buildings, ZENITH™ Projects, and Heritage/Restoration Projects.
The winners of these categories will then go in the running for the major award, the Lysaght Inspirations Design Award, with the winner to receive a free trip to Amsterdam to attend the 2018 World Architecture Festival.
The judges have begun the judging process and the winners will be announced in the week commencing October 15th.
